How To Stop Resisting Pain + Use Challenges To Support Your Highest Good

We’ve all felt overwhelmed and wanted life to be easier, or wished that a challenging situation wasn’t happening—but the problem is when we put our energy into resisting what we don’t like—we drag the challenge out, increase our stress around it and often make the situation worse.

In this week’s video on the Overwhelm Series I share a short video on how to stop resisting what you don’t like and ask questions that will help you figure out how to make a challenge work for your highest good.

From now to the end of August tread very gently on your thoughts and emotions.

Your emotions will probably feel MUCH more intensified than usual—it is really important to do your self-care medicines right now.

What calms and centers you?

What brings you peace?

Avoid too many hours of watching the news if it triggers your mental well-being—stay informed just know when to turn the TV or computer off.

Be gentle in your relationships—wave the white flag and best to avoid any extreme decisions at this heightened time.

I’m guessing we’ll see an intensification on the political front over the next month and half.

I share this as it is greatly helpful to know we’re in an astrologically heightened time.

Like any storm in nature you wanna know that it’s happening, keep your head, don’t believe every exaggerated thought and extreme emotion you feel and do what helps you to stay calm and grounded. If you notice yourself spinning out—give yourself a 10 minute timeout, put an ice pack on your head, take 20 even breaths in and out and calmly re-enter the world thinking only about the thing you need to accomplish in that hour.

From now till the end of August I’d highly recommended that you up your self-care to stay strong physically, mentally, and spiritually, and consciously do what you helps you to feel connected to a peaceful energy greater than yourself. : )
